I need to make a lot of clothes. I threw my silk persian stuff in as a last minute inpulse and it turned out to be the only thing that didn't look goofy on me. I got dressed 3x Saturday morning before retreating into the silk stuff that I made in 1998 (yikes!!!). PLus, I only had the braid case, not the veil/head piece. AND I didn't have the coat layer. I felt so self-conscious. feh.

So "hurrah for fitness and eating right", but I want to cry, too... where am I going to get the time? sigh. (where's that damned fairy godmother when I need her? I'll give her a coupon to the fabric store... )

going home and sewing tonight!!! (it's not a fitnes night, so I'm not actually bailing on THAT!)

I have a serious need for lots of basics. Maybe we could set up a basics sewing project list too? Would be a lot of fun to do that with you. I could do okay on my own, but would be liable to make many varieties of the same thing.
