Trying a bigger tri
Triatholon post.
Today I got a post from the producers of the San Jose International Tri.
"Link to all their currently posted tris"
This is annoying. The dates do not fit with my plan to take over the world.
"Team Thread_Walker" is vexed. Well, the half that is actually doing the tri is vexed. The devoted cheering section and all-around pit crew is unaware and will probably say something encouraging when I grump at him.
Looks like the San Jose one is June 8. NO flipping way I could be ready in time.
The Folsom one is August 10. I could probaby be ready... but what's the weather like in Folsom at that time of year... ugh. I was really thinking I wanted to do an Olympic length tri in Sept/Oct, so that moves my time-table up.
Stress. Fear of failure. Ugh. Mental battle ground about pushing my training up. 8/10 is also a sister's b-day. bah-humbug! Why can't the world revolve around my needs. yah, whatevah.
I will need to look further afield. Maybe Wild Flower tri in Monterey although I wasn't planning on making my triathalon adventure an over-nighter. humph.

I woke up this morning with my brain already turning this over. I'm percolating and I'm going to wait to see where my training takes me this winter/spring.
