Tilt!

How bizarre.

The janitor was just hanging out in my office. I'm not used to seeing him before 8pm and we chatted for a few minutes. He's a 23 yr old piece of eye-candy. He thought I was 29 or 30.

really!?!@!! maybe he's pulling my leg... or used to flattering women... or hasn't gotten close enough to see the gray hair and the skin around my eyes... but.. dang! For about 1 minute I was bowled over.

I'm thinking he hasn't gotten close enough to see my worn edges. It's the bangs. They totally cover the lines on my forehead. And maybe my young outlook/behaviour; I probably don't act like I'm old enough to be his mom. Now that's a disturbing thought... old enough to be his mom. E-gads.

Excellent! All for the mom part... but then again, to be hawt enough to attract 'em that young doesn't suck, either. ;)

lol... I Love that icon.

yes, very bizarre. I think it's more that I laugh a lot than because I actually look that young. But nothing wrong with being happy.

Oh you Mrs. Robinson!

hahaha! Corrupter of youth and all that?

Except that I work with a gazillion men who range from 25 to 60+ and I might not be super-observant about the male-female thing when it involves me, but I've never noticed that they notice me (except for the one foreign inspector who latches onto me). There's no vibe there. He was just relating how he got a ticket for not wearing a seat-belt and was then surprised when I mentioned that I remembered driving before the seat-belt law, which became an age conversation. See... totally harmless convesation. Not a hot young stud-muffin hitting on me, just a hot young stud muffin sharing the woes of traffic violations.

i can't help it....

So of all the people in this largely male workplace, this 23 year old hot-pocket chooses to pass the time with you, telling you tales of his bad-boy rebellious ways, and run-ins with the law, and specifically his not using a device used to restrain him? (didn't you know he's unrestrainable?) He still managed to engage you in conversation seeking common ground. Considering your advanced age, he did pretty well!

ku-ku-catchu!

lol.. fell out of my chair... The not-so-cute young male delivery guy, the older graying trash collector, and the (happily married) chubby forklift driver all chat w/ me too.

It's because I'm approachable. I'm a nice person with an approachable vibe. I greet everyone who makes eye contact and I'm especially respectful to the people who clean up our trailer, bring in the mail and operate heavy equipment near my car.

From seeing you yesterday I would have put you in your early thirties.

Thank you. I have to say I was remiss in telling you how good you looked on Sunday. I was totally smacking my forehead when I got to the tunnel for not letting you know. I think between the weight-loss and high energy level, you were looking younger than when I first met you.

Maybe it's the whole being healthy thing; could it be that being fit and active erases years? or at least give the impression of youthful shine? I figure anti-oxidants must be involved somewhere.

Regardless, you look great!!
