But wait.. it's Friday
Couple of things rolling around in my gray matter this week:
Two odd-ball things said to me last weekend at Crown that have been rolling around in my head:
1. Someone thought I was an athlete when they saw me from across the eric based solely on how I moved. That was really cool. I've been fat for so long, it's weird to hear. (And, honestly, does little for my vanity, but totally fuels my confidence and drive to do Deathride 2009!!!! Hell yeah!! Bring it!)
2. Sir X said I was tough. Sir X and I go way back but see each other very
infrequently. He does not live in the Mists. I mentioned I wasn't very
strong, but he didn't mean that. The conversation that followed was surprising. I guess I'm not the only people watcher out there.
Plus:
Fighting in armor is fun. I don't know why it wasn't fun before, but it is now. I'm hooked. So much to learn; it's very exciting and feels so good. I hope it doesnt make me fat.
My kids rock. Here's what they said yesterday after swim lessons:
Me: Super N, I am so proud of you. You were swimming for real.
Super N: did you see? I was kicking and using my arms. Hey, Miss E, how come you didn't swim?
Miss E: I didn't want to swim. I took a break today.
Super N: Miss E! That's just quitting and calling it something different.
Miss E: I did not quit! It was a break.
Super N: You can call it whatever you want to call it, but it's still quitting.
D'oh! the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I had to bite my lip. I totally agree with him, but stayed out of it.
I like adrenaline. Lots.
