Just for the record...

I will (again) be working 50+ hours this week, so I took off a few hours early, came up to update the Collegium website and the frick-frack-bleeping Page Builder won't load. I've been trying to get the flipping thing to load for an HOUR. Arh!!!!!

In other news, I worked 'til midnight a week ago. Thinking my boss was being ubber cool and letting me comp a day, I then took Tuesday to play. I went skiing. It was snowing and windy. It easily dropped several inches while I was there. The grey sky and grey snow made visibility wretched (but made a great excuse for buying new goggles during lunch break). The ground would drop out unexpectedly or I'd hit a patch of powder when I didn't expect it.

It was F-ING AWESOME. Using the theory "wider is better", I kept the skis wide and my hips and knees loose. Everytime I started to loose control, I pointed my toes downhill and rode it out. It was freaking fun. I went faster than I'd ever gone before and got past my "must remain in control at all times" impulse.

it was fabulous. Too bad I had to use one of my prescious vacation days after all. Ah well.

And here I sit, tryin to load page builder. bleck

We don't get comp anything around here. Sorry about the workload; I'm pulling 10 hour + days myself these days. Bestest of Wishes!

It's frustrating to put in hours like that and not get a comp day! The US is the worst when it comes to vacation/comp policies!!!

At least you got to ski, and it sounds like you had a really good time.
