health blah-g

Edit: Today's dreaded phrase..."let's schedule that meeting at lunch tomorrow"... internal groan.

Lunch kudos: one of the managers complimenting me on my commitment to my choice.
Lunch baddy: One of the managers is trying to undermine me. He is pushing the guilt button. It's a chink in my armor. So far I am strong.

Nutrition: on track. So far this week: did not eat any of the lunch offerings. One more to go.... Feeling really confident about that.

Tonight I made chicken chili in crock pot (I just bagged it and stashed some in fridge and some in freezer). Very tasty. Only 4.5 pts per cup. Throwing 1/2 cup of that onto spinach tomorrow for lunch... protein-y-goodness

Exercise:
Tuesday - going to the gym after work with the kids did not work for me.
1 - supremely crowded at gym
2 - I realized I only had 90 minutes from pick up time to bed time with the kids. I didn't want to burn that by being on the stair master. Struck me as "wrong".
So - no exercise

Wednesday: 5pm mtg cancelled. Left straight for gym after my 8hrs were up and did that before picking up kids.

Thursday: will do gym break before lunch meeting. (that seems to actually work very well)

Friday - tbd.

Wootie and I try to get lunch and snack items set up for him ahead of time. Some weeks work better than others. One problem for me is that I get tired of having the same thing every day. Once that happens, I don't want that item for a while, in some cases for years!

It is fantastic that you're managing to make your commitments work!

It is a test of my willpower everyday. I have to remind myself of my commitment to my health.
