bring me fabric or someone will lose their head...

muh ha ha...

None of my old patterns fit, which has been frustrating, and making new patterns for myself is annoying; I don't have reach around elbows and arms to do my own back. Grrrr... But then I got draped on Sunday by [profile] d_salie. Yay! Fabric in drier. Weaving immanent...????

Yes, that's right, weaving. I'm not actually weaving, I'm warping. I need to warp a loom for someone else before I begin to sew for me. But as soon as the loom is warped, I'm off and cutting and presumably someone else is weaving. Wheee!

Yep, someone else will be weaving. Maybe with a quick lesson? It's been a while and I never really made anything but test pieces.

Hugs to you! And yay new drape!

of course. I'm going to warp it so that you don't have to do anything tricky (err.. that's MY definition of tricky) and show you my tricks for knowing where you left off.

Once we decided to stay home for the 4th, i'd been planning to warp it then. But I left the design at work. Slap forehead.

I prowled about the place very annoyed with myself and then realized I was wasting valuable time. I tweaked my recent drape and then cut out a bodice instead. So the time I was going to sew (Sat morning) will now be the time I plan to warp. yay!

Contortions of the body...

mmmmmm.... yes... that and getting my head to spin completely around is also something I have yet to master myself. And ALL my new garb... the patterns are from my drapping by you... when rocks were soft... *Grin* They fit my boobs pretty damn nice, now...

Warping a loom is far easier when two work together.
