Lines that make me laugh...

Nonsense and giggles and spooks
My kids crack me up. When we say "strept throat", Evie thinks we are saying "striped" throat. So yesterday at preschool Evie runs up to her teacher, "Miss Lisa, so-and-so had a striped toy in his mouth and now he's going to get striped throat." I was down the hall and laughed all the way to my car. What a great leap of logic! The teachers almost fell over laughing.

Last night I watched Buffy Season 1, "Nightmare" and "Invisible Girl".

Cordelia's Nightmare was bad hair, being dressed like Holly Hobbie, and being dragged off by the chess club.

Cordelia's great line in Invisible girl: "Yeah, she's way evil-er than I am."

I made my boss split a side yesterday:
me, "Yeah, I had a whole six pack of Diet Coke yesterday and the caffeine didn't affect me." After saying this I suddenly realized I was twitching my foot, tapping my pen and talking .. and doing all of these really fast. I suddenly froze, boss started busting up, and I know I turned tomato red. heh... well, maybe it affected me a little bit.

And, for my spooky moment: Buffy is on and being spooky (Invisible Girl episode). I'm alone in shed. Family is asleep in house. It's after midnight. Wind is whipping trees around. With no warning the door to the Corbie Cave, which is behind me as I work, swings all the way open.

EEEK!!!!

hehee I remember that episode of Buffy! I highly recommend that you don't watch the episode that is without dialoge until the end of the episode alone, I can't recall the name of it, it's much later in the series, but really spoooky.

I'm going to be watching Angel from the start again soon, I just love netflix!

Yes thanks! I thought that was the title but wasn't totally sure. I am awful about episode names! One of my favorites was the musical one they did and I also enjoyed evil Willow, of course willow was always my favorite :)

I think it's the one where the Master gets the chosen one, Buffy is on a date with Owen, and Zander and Willow want her to go to the mortuary (where Giles is)... If not, they use a very similar line in that one to get Buffy to leave Owen and go to Giles inevitable rescue.
