I was pleasantly surprised by the number of good options. There were fruit platters and salads that I just don't recall being available when we went 2 years ago. They also have fruit stands scattered through the park, so I suspect Mouse Management is sensitive to the health food swing going on. And when I stopped at those stands, there was always a line, so clearly something being appreciated by park visitors.
But I cringe at a $7 fruit plate or a $2 piece of fruit when I know I can throw a few bananas and apples in my bag and skip the financial blood-letting known as eating in the park.
Frankly, what I need is the fat-free, low-cal churro. When they come up with that, I will be estatic. hahaha! In the meantime, I pinch my nose shut if I happen to be near a churro stand while I'm hungry.
