Yes, if you can do Diablo, you can do practically any other ride around here. I'm quite impressed with you. My first Diablo ride was in a February! Much cooler, and quite pretty at that time. I think August must have been torture.
On hot days, if you wet down a hanky or napkin and put it in your helmet, it will help the cooling. Try dumping water on your head too.

I did it every year until I was 62, and always had a great ride. There are even "Princes Charming" waiting everywhere to feed you, give you water, and do quick repairs as needed. It's a real good time with several different length rides.
