I don't know about parking. I didn't park and ride. I always just left from home on the bike and came back to home on the bike. It was a 66 mile round trip according to my odometer. I generally took 4-6 hours, including lunch. I wasn't speedy, but I was persistent (and never went as fast as my age, hee hee).
Marsh Creek is narrow and not many cars go by. It wasn't until I did that ride alone once that I realized how dangerous that could be. After that I would only would go with a companion or two. There are some good bike clubs in the area and there's always someone who will ride with you if you plan ahead.
