I am home sick... tummy-throat stuff. feh. Nothing has tasted right since yesterday and I spent all yesterday feeling like I had heartburn. Perhaps I was already getting sick. Symptoms: can't swallow, queasy tummy, nothing tastes right and throat raw all the way up to roof of mouth. Woe unto me... yah, whatever... who cares...

Nicholas has bronchitus, so he's home getting breathing treatments every 4 hrs. I'd rather be home sick alone so I could lay around in peace, but since he's sick, at least he's not bouncing off the walls too much. The new Fantastic 4 DVD is helping a lot, too. And, unknown to him, we are going out to lunch. But our first stop will be to pick up his school work so he can start that after lunch. I can't wait to hear, "Gee, thanks for turning off the cartoons and giving me some super-exciting homework to do, Mommy"... I will probably be waiting a LOOOOOONG time to hear that. lol.

I've been up since 5:30 and spent about 3 hrs working on the mural between getting kids ready and giving Nicholas breathing treatments. ( Read more... )
