Happy Thoughts
Dec. 17th, 2007 09:13 amThe Big Three are kicking my butt and all I want to do is go home and pull the blankets over my head. Here are the happy thoughts I'm using to keep myself upbeat:
1. Got my bike from shop and they fit it to me. I got tire repair stuff and a pump. I left the cleated pedals on and got the cleated shoes (on sale!). I fully expect some road rash. I need to practice getting on and off each night this week or Sassycat is going to be sorry she ever met me.
2. Had great visit w/ my mom last weekend.
3. Despite seam ripping and much cursing,
fighter_chick's dress has a collar. I'm quite pleased with how it lays. More progress forecast for tonight. But the stress has dropped off.
4. My kids are cute.
5. My hubby had a good time on Sunday at Dickens.
6. I got to wear my wedding dress on Sunday at Dickens. (makes me want to make more bustle dresses)
7. I'm 2-3 BART rides away from being done with the silk work on my Opus piece.
8. Riding BART saves money and right now, it's faster than driving. Yay for BART.
