Am I ready?
May. 21st, 2008 01:31 pmErinwood IV this weekend. The kids have sprouted and I have shrunk, so nothing much fits that's appropriate for camping. I'm not sure which of us will be wearing the emperor's new clothes. The last month has been lots of sporadic sewing amongst triathlon training. So OF COURSE my muse has me working on my embroidery on BART over the last week instead of handwork on this stuff. Vexascious Muse! You drive me MAD!
Anyway,
( project status )
P.S. I had my WW weigh in today. Except for swimming Monday and yoga a week ago, I have done zero fitness since my triathlon (Beltane weekend for most of you). And I weigh... exactly the same I did right before that. Woot woot for counting points and balancing my crazy pre-tooth extraction trip to Cold Stone with sleeping (i.e. fasting) for over 12 hours!! (I figured I needed enough calories in my body to carry me through at least 24 hours and one trip to Cold Stone was the funnest way to do it.)
Anyway, that is great. And I want to get enough sewing done by 8pm tonight so I can hit the bike and weights in the gym for an hour. Maybe 10 min of running to "wake up" my leg muscles w/o harming anything.
