I'm not sure if you are lumping us in w/ the German outfits - we weren't in Germans either. Those were researched out of Arnold's PoF, Queen Elizabeth's Wardrobe Unlock'd, and Roy Strongs English Icon. I believe the development of that style/cut of ropa is due to the English interpretting the Italian style and modifying it to meet their own aesthetic. It's a great cut, though and I need to make more.
You looked wonderful. I know you were stressing about parts being left behind, but for someone that might not have been 100% assembled, no one else would have known if you had not said something.
