I think it's because I have the soundtrack of the Buffy musical playing at my work station, but I can't keep my brain from wandering to what I'd rather be doing than what's in front of me.

My hero-d'jour is Wyle E Fire, a fire/fire blaster w/ bunny ears. I did some homework on mythology while I was creating Wyle. I'm always drawn to myth and culture. I came across the tradition of a trickster in the Subsaharran named Zomo the Hare and this is what inspired Wyle E Fire. I think of Wyle as an agent of chaos. With a nod to my sense of humor, Wyle has bunny ears and sun-glasses, a mini skirt and go-go boots and some key phrases I've programmed, my fav being "You can be my Huckleberry" (a la Tombstone). Most people seem to think of it as a come-on and not a challenge, but it's a challenge.

Last night I think I pissed off a bunch of snot-nosed kids in PvP with my snappy dialogue.. lol.. and introduced an unsuspecting friend (Sharma) to the joys that is Player V. Player in Sirens Call. (Evil cackle). We freaking rocked and got on a team that worked amazing together. They sent 1 brute and 2 stalkers to bury me... I was hollering in glee at the computer ... my husband thinks I'm nuts, but I love the rush. I was shaking w/ adreniline the first time I got ganked. And laughing while chasing their corrupter. ... Yes - I'm a flaming rabbit....hahahaha! Best night in ages in SC.... Sharma had a blast, too. And the husband shook his head at me for corrupting Sharma.

Anyway.. evil chuckle.. muh-hah-hah.. Wyle has almost all the special Halloween event badges. I still need the UnSeelie Court Badge... muh-hah-hah... soon my love, soon. I even capitalized on the darkness in Talos and I"m half way done w/ the Banished Pantheon badge. muh-hah-hah... It's over soon, but there's still tonight... glee... evil gaming glee.

Which brings my badge count to 160-ish. I thought my scrapper, Shadows, was going to be my main badge hunter, but... errr... Wyle is rockin' and almost caught up w/ Shadows... The Halloween event ends this weekend - maybe even midnight tonight. I've only worked on this a few nights this week, so the die-hards think I'm lagging. But I do have a life outside the computer... truly.

OH - and I sew, too. Infact, last night I logged off at 9pm and retreated to the Corbie Cave... (Hmm.. did I turn the heater off? fuck! at least it has a thermostat... and I Think I turned off the main breaker... gah.. will need to leave work early to make sure house hasn't burned down). I made progress on my new silk Italian kirtle last night. It's white and I felt very bridal when I had it on, which cracked me up. I wasn't going to line the skirt, but I think it's too wispy without it. So - it was all pinned up and laced closed. What fun! Might be able to finish it and make and over dress this weekend. wheee... (okay, probably not, but it's fun to think about.)
