I remember playing games with Rachel to improve her math skills...we started out with 2 dice and rolled them...she had to add them as fast as she could...if she got it right she got a penny. After a while we started timing it, and if she got it in 5 seconds she got a penny, if not, then no penny. The next step after that was to get it in 5 seconds or she gave ME a penny. It was quite a fun game and can be done for subtraction too (larger die roll minus smaller die roll). (this works when you get to the times tables too)
I still have trouble keeping up with everything I need to do as a parent. All I figure I can do is do my best and keep truckin on!
