1. Audit continues. I am doing well. Yay me! One small tension headache, but no stupid bloopers or failures in front of inspectors. Much scrambling and freaking behind scenes to compensate for calm, cool presentations.

2. The rest of my work is kicking my butt. And the inmates who are driving me mad will get come-uppence. One day. Hopefully. Right now I'm freaking out and bailing like mad. I may need to take work with me to Tex-Ass this weekend. Blah.

3. Last night Rhino Theater was great, but I was not in the mood to be depressed, so I was totally on-board with the plan to bail out.

4. Departing theater and wandering around Guerro looking for a bar that didn't smell like pee was funny. The gay mexican bar was fun. Dancing in black-light was great. Did not get up on stage this time. Yay! Restraint!

Best line: It's not Rich's b'day if someone doesn't get pee'd on.

5. Tattoo. Yes, thanks I have one. Or maybe you could say I have 10 that all came together to make one big picture. Yes, it's large. Yes, it hurt in some areas, I barely felt it in others and it took many many hours. Yes, I'd do it again if I could think of a good spot that wouldn't detract from the current one. Am I officially "out"? HA! as if I subscribe to anyone else's value-sets. It's not exactly been a secret, but I haven't felt any particular urge to share; it's my tattoo for me and is unrelated to anyone else. My body, my rules.

So why explain here? I'm bored, just survived a chunk of the audit and I'm percolating on comments that a few people have made to me about my tattoo at June Crown.

Some think it's a secret (it's not), some think it should be for their viewing pleasure (it's not), some are afraid to comment (don't worry, I don't bruise easy; comment away!), some disapprove (you are welcome to) and some want the name of the artist (Marco, Picture Machine Tattoo in San Francisco. He'd be thrilled if you came in and said you saw my gryphon ink).

I think that a lot of people who get skin art also anticipate sharing their skin art with others, so it's normal to assume that if it's there, it's there to be shared. Mine, however, was for me. It has to do with things that have gone down in my life that I've overcome and it has to do with how I've embraced myself; I have a black-belt in "me". How awesome is that? To me, the reason behind the tat is far more exciting that the tat itself. But then I'm told I'm wacky that way.

Will I show it to you? I'm not going to share it for the sake of your viewing pleasure. If I'm wearing something and you can see it, you can ask and depending on how creepy you are depends on whether or not I share. If you can't see it based on what I'm wearing, odds are slim to none - I really don't like to be the only one dropping my pants and lifting my shirt. On the other hand, if you're willing to drop your pants and lift your shirt first, I will probably be convinced to do the same; no alcohol required. Cuz I'm wacky that way.

Basically, it's my body and my rules.

I don't have a tat to show n tell. Yet. But I do have an awesome surgical scar up my thigh and around my left cheek...

Yes, the quid pro quo may not be necessary here but it could be fun. ;)
