I am still riding high from dancing last Saturday night at The Casbah and having the Baptism last Sunday. What a drop in my stress levels in getting through that!

And my job, though exhausting, is really challenging me and I LIKE it. Collegium needs some tweaks and updates, but none of it seems to be earth shattering. I'm starting to hunt for a fall site next month. My dietary shift seems to be helping with my health problems, although we're still diagnosing. I'm starting to feel a little guilty at how good I'm feeling because everyone around me, including spouse and kids, seems to be sick or injured or both.

You know who you are. I am sending positive thoughts in your direction for fast healing.

Revel in feeling good!

Don't feel guilty if you're not gloating to your wounded ones. Believe me, I understand! I know how wonderful it feels to feel so high after feeling so low.

What beanolc said about the guilt! Why on earth would I want my friends and loved ones to be sick?? I am glad you're healthy--somebody ought to be!

I'm doing much better, btw. The good news yesterday coupled with time to heal is making me feel downright chipper this morning.

Pain is a bizarre thing

For me it is a weird truth that I'll be aware of all sorts of aches and pains and tolerate them for as long as I can ignore them. But when they crank up to "unable to tune this out", I'm miserable. When they go away or resume their old "ignorable" levels, there's this amazing feeling of wellness and recovery. Like when the bruise on my hip no longer matters because the incapacitating migraine went away.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Despite everything you've been through, you're a pretty tough person. I just hate seeing the toughness tested.

*hugs*
