Looks like they are going to let me keep my foot. (Hurrah!) And I should heal and walk like a normal person again. (Hurrah!) We just aren't sure when.

I probably damaged some planar fascia thing (no idea how to spell it) on the bottom of my foot. The plan is to soak it 3x a day in a warm bath for 30 minutes. I haven't asked, but I suspect I'm not going to be allowed to bring a foot bath to work. However, this made a great motivator this morning to go stew in the hot tub where I came up with a "honey-do" list of yard work.

In the meantime I hobble-hop and everyone seems to assume I've twisted my ankle. The plan is to lay low and hopefully be ready for the hoofing I need to do on Saturday.

You don't have big feet. I wore a size 9 in grade school. ;)

I injured the same tendon once. Hopefully you have an easier time of it than I did! Remember to s-t-r-e-t-c-h!!!
