This update brought to you because the boss let me work from home. I love my boss. And it's a freaking beautiful day to be on Concord. Dang! Had shwerma for lunch. Will walk down to preschool to pick up kids later. Will nestle in for evening.
Yay. Being at home means not using $3+/gallon gas. I did some math this week. I clocked mileage accurately and it currently costs more to drive than take BART. (?$? - it's often close, but not right now.) I did some clock-watching. It's close enough to the same travel time since traffic has been so lousy lately. And I got to read on BART. (Although HOW I accidentally picked up a recent Anita Blake novel I'll never know. Total waste of time. Actually threw it in the garbage when I was done and I've never done that before).
Starting Monday, I'm BART-ing in and grabbing something else (more worthy) to read. I'll jab the spouse and have him recommend something from his stash.
That's it. Back to work.
