Totally not work or life related.

I listen to a radio station that has a "thing" called "Love Trap". Basically, you have them set up a 3rd party to find out if the 3rd party is cheating. The DJ calls the target, says they've won a dozen long stem roses to be sent anywhere, and asks for a name. The cheaters seem to pick their paramors and not the spouses. In a few cases there was no cheating, but so far, the cheaters out number the non-cheaters.

My first thought has always been, "why don't you just ask them?" But I guess the whole point of being a cheater is that you're dishonest. Hence there's probably no honest answer to a confrontation.

Today's episode should go down in the books as, "What not to do when you want to split from your wife." The cheating husband was with his doxy when the DJ called. Then, after he was outed and after his wife (who was initially silent on the line during the set-up) confronts him, his defense to being a lying, cheating, husband was:

1. you weren't romantic enough
2. you nag too much
3. you gained weight and got fat
The woman scorned... )
