Still! flying high post audit

threadwalkerI think I'm mentally out. I'm having a very hard time focusing at work. And the kudos from the boss are still rolling around in my brain. Yay!
It has been sooo freaking long since I've had a job that resulted in kudos. It's scary. I like it.
Heart Warming:
Last night the Villa Lunatics had a group session. hehehe! We set a date to hang out and get caught up. In the end, only 3 of us made it. It was wonderful. We caught each other up on what we're doing, on family, on work ... no, we did not sit around griping about spouses. That would be boring and pointless. We were much more interested in what was going on in each other's hearts. Did I say it was wonderful? It was!
I think this needs to be a regular thing.
Funny:
Turns out "the gullible one" does not know how to walk in heals. Per the code of the girlfriend, "never let you girlfriends go out looking silly", I set out to teach her in the parking lot of the pub at 11 pm. It was very silly and we were both cracking up. But she had the hang of it when we were done. The hot-headed-red-head laughed and left us to it because she don't wear no stinkin' heals.
