Friday's 5

1. I hate keeping a daily log of how I spend my time. This sucks. It's one of the reasons I stopped being a contractor. Death to micromanaging.
2. I had to drive today because there are fires on/near the train tracks and system-wide delays. They suspect arson. So with everything else going down someone's solution is to set fire to the train? Jeez!
3. The multi-billion dollar bail-out will not impact the rich or the broke because the rich will still be rich and the broke will still be broke. So the rest of us once again get to pay for someone else's greed. I wish I made wooden arrows.
4. On the bail-out: I liked what I heard on the radio this morning. Just when you thought Bush was on his way out and couldn't do anymore harm, ...'Ta-Dah'!
5. I've been angry about something for over a month. I stew on it and go from severe annoyance to inferno of anger. While I was mulling this over on my (fire-inspired) commute today, I saw the Amber-Alert for child abduction. Hello, thank you for the reality check. My problem is NOT life and death. In fact, the bailout isn't even life and death for me (yet). But someone else is going through terror because their child has been snatched. Be on the look-out for a gray Toyota Pick-up, last three digits are "253". (They had all the numbers, but that's all I could remember as I started peering around me looking for gray pickups.)
