threadwalkerYay! Sewing!
Draped O&H last night w/ D'Salai. We pick on each other while we work. H&O said we sound like we're married. H was giving me the hairy eyeball when I said how funny he was in court on Saturday. He was blaming me for behind-throne shenanigans, so I was forced to out Baroness S for ineptly hanging plastic horses off the back of his coronet cuz they kept falling and rolling down H's hair. He'd feel it, look over and glare at me. Nope - not me! It was the saucy blonde! Now - I admit to doing it 1 time - but it stuck and it stayed in place through most of court and during the Laurel ceremony, so it was not disruptive and he never needed to glare at me. It fell when Baroness S tried to nudged it upright and it fell off. (She doesn't leave well enough alone. hehheheheh!). For some bizarre reason, he is more annoyed at one horse stuck to the coronet than a herd rolling off the back of his head. Humph. So even tho I only did it ONE time, he's making "off with her head" noises as soon as the clothes are done. hahahaha! He and his lady are so cool. What a lot of fun they are.
Tonight I'm cutting out the bodice so I can give the fabric to D'Salai to cut out the doublet. Muhahaha!
More sewing - next year I make a "German" for someone else. I have a timeframe to work with and I'm going to cull my resources. I sorta said something like "can we do something that hasn't been overdone? I'm not really inspired by Crannach - everyone does Crannach"... and she said "yes". I LOVE it. I have to start going through my books.
More sewing - kid stuff - progressing well.
More sewing - early period stuff still stuck in a bog. ah well, I need to just draw out the embroidery pattern again and I'll get jazzed.
I'm progressing on my project list. Kind of slow, but it's paced and not crazy. Yay for Sanity!
Yay! BSG! in less than 2 hours
Yay! Workshop! - to be assembled on Monday. Sheetrock soon.
Yay! My teenaged-fashion plate turns 3 and we crawl through adult sized hamster run on Sunday -The Jungle. Followed by cake and ice cream. Hooray for Three!
Is my life interesting? NO! I LOVE boring.
Is my life full of excitement? Only to me. I non-drama.
