no cuddles, just the truth

My primary care physician is an honest lady. Last year she said, to my face: Lose 10 lb or die. She's very blunt. It left a big impression. She doesn't waste energy on being nice and I'm fine with that. If I want lies to make me feel good, I can always ask my mom.

And this is good: If you can't hear the truth from your doctor, who can you rely on?

Today I got a thumbs-up on general health. yay. Overall blood work results are good. yay! Blood sugar has not budged downwards. boo! But it hasn't gone up, either. yay! So I think, in general, I'm in a "yay" state. woot woot.

I might get some sushi on my way home from work... mmmm... dead fishies... and celebrate good health by spending some quality time in the shed... which has been renamed "The Corbie Cave" thanks to Magne, who's wit is infectious and proof against shots.

Corbie = Corbus = Raven
